Tolectin®DS (tolmetin sodium 400mg) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. It works by reducing the levels of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, pain, and fever. Tolectin®DS is typically prescribed for patients who need management of inflammatory conditions.
Tolectin®DS should be taken by mouth, usually 2-3 times daily with a full glass of water. It's best taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Follow your doctor's instructions on dosage and duration.
Tolectin®DS is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and juvenile arthritis. It can also help alleviate general pain, such as muscle aches, back pain, toothaches, and menstrual cramps.
